For anyone that has been by the store over the last 3 years, you may have heard us talking about a certain Whiskey Club that we would "soon" be launching. Well, in-spite of my personal procrastination, the day is finally here and we are so excited. This past Friday we held our first official whiskey club event and kickoff, and we had our buddy Trey Wade, also Chief Experience Curator for Blue Run Spirits, on hand doing the tasting. It was a blast, and the best whiskey tasting I have ever been to (fully objective here 😁)!

In the retail world it can be an interesting thing sometimes, especially with fashion retail. Often times you are chasing two things: selling enough of your product to stay in business AND recognition and respect for what you do by the industry you are in (i.e. other fashion brands / publications etc...). I will be honest, the two don't necessarily go hand in hand, and the lines get even more blurred when you compare it on a national scale vs a regional/local scale. 

If you’ve been by the shop the past couple of weeks, you may have already met OMJ’s newest executive stylist, Cross. Cross joined us last month from Los Angeles and brings years of experience in both the fashion industry and fine suiting. While OMJ is known for great custom suiting, we also have been looking to expand further by offering a next level luxury suiting experience. Think, the finest fabric mills like Loro Piana and Zegna, made in Italy, made completely by hand and specialty fabrics (Vićuna, diamond chipped, gold stripes etc..). Our core offering will not change, and this new line won’t be for everyone, but we are thrilled to expand our capabilities and serve a broader niche.
